Oberdan Bezzi seems to have a desire to repower motorcycles with Royal Enfield's new engine. We saw his Bullet Sport last year where he put the single into a Honda design concept, this time he's taken the 500cc single and fitted it into a Wakan in place of the S&S 1640cc V-Twin, the result is the Wakan 500 Superlight. I really like the Wakan 1640 and Oberdan's Photoshop skills are very high, the drawing looks good, everything fits together perfectly, but, ... I think the 500 single is better suited to other duties. Interesting idea, though.

DISNEY MOVIE producers have scrapped the sequel to the biker film Wild Hogs, starring Hollywood legend John Travolta.
The movie, entitled 'Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride' was to begin production next summer, with Walt Becker back as director, along with original cast members John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy . The film centred around a gang of middle-aged bikers facing their inevitable mid-life crisis. It's reported poor audience figures for similar movies and a general lull in the film industry are behind Disney's decision. NINE-TIME motorcycle world champion Valentino Rossi is the fourth highest earning sportsman of 2009, recent figures have revealed.
According to financial experts Forbes.com, the Italian maestro is among the highest paid earners in the world, pocketing just under £29 million in 2009 for his endeavours. The highest listed earner is Tiger Woods. The legendary golfer (and swordsman) raked in £62 million, followed by British footballing ace (and former swordsman) David Beckham's £40 million.
